All classes are taught by teams of specially-trained instructors. Click on why choose us to discover a bit about who we are. Our school has offered classes in Spokane since 1984. You may drop-in any week to begin learning Tai Chi basics including qigong and the first part of the Yang Style Short Form. The complete form is taught in 30 to 40 hours. Each class is approximately one hour long. The First Third of the form is a complete unto itself. More advanced classes and intensives are also scheduled. Our Beginning Form Drop-in Class will bring Tai Chi into your life through movement, meditation, breath and relaxation. Each session will begin with qigong and then focus on the Tai Chi form—its principles and supporting practices. Breath awareness will bring us into the present. Body awareness will keep us awake and healthy. You will leave with tools and experience that may be applied to each moment of your everyday life. The cost is $65 for 8 sessions, or a single drop-in class is $10 (see beginners special above). We will make a special arrangement with you if finances are a problem. Current Classes:
